Following its official launch, the Interreg AA Atlantic Bridges partners gathered in Le Havre for the first Steering Committee, a milestone to structure the project’s trajectory and strengthen collaboration across the Atlantic area.

Hosted in Normandy by the EM Normandie Business School's team, this meeting brought together all partners around a shared objective: building a common methodology to make progress on the production of the first deliverables : the territorial analysis and the strategic framework.

The project leader, Eixo Atlántico do Noroeste Peninsular, reminded the core of the project : the sustainable coastal development, rooted in a stronger land-sea connection and aligned with the triple transition (ecological, economic and social).

The study visit included a guided tour of the port and industrial area by Le Havre Port Center offered a concrete understanding of the scale and complexity of port-city integration. This experience helped anchor discussions in reality, feeding future work on urban regeneration, sustainable tourism and the blue economy.

The STORYATU team look forward to welcoming the partners to the Sligo study visit later this year.
